A layout and a holiday :)

*warning long post with far too many pics...lol!* Tragically my holidays are almost over :( Back to work and reality tomorrow morning. I've done a fair bit of scrapping (or at least sitting amongst a scrapping mess) over the last couple of weeks, but there isn't much I can share because most of its for my possible Masters entry...still not sure if I feel confident enough about it all...but anyways the Embellished recipe challenge from a couple of weeks ago: It had to include :A handmade title, felt, 3 different pp's, diecuts, ribbon, some bling and a picture without a human I love this picture of the orangutans taken at the Adelaide Zoo in October last year- such clever beautiful creatures. The layout was also meant to have something out of your stash older than 12 months, but I bypassed that one seeing as I haven't been scrapping that long yet!! So I spent a lot of my holidays with Tatum, Woody and the Kids in Roxby. It was absolutely FANTASTIC!! I love how totally relaxing it is, I spent most days scrapping, reading, hanging out with the kids and just enjoying the moment :) Mum and Jess came too and managed to take over 360 pics!!! OMG!! but here are some of my faves... Beautiful Miss Jasmine, she turned 3 months whilst we were there, I can't believe how quickly time is going and how much she is growing, I definitely made sure I got lots of hugs and smothered the poor girl in kisses :)
I had a birthday, I am now officially 23, it was a lovely day topped off with champagne and the yummiest White Chocolate Cheesecake ever!!! Thank you Tatum- I felt very very special xx
This is what I found one morning when I got up...there were four in the bed and little one said...I think they were pretty cosy :)
This little guy is so adorable, and love love loves giving his baby sister cuddles!
For her Yr 12 Photography assignment Jess and Bastain went and played in the sand dunes across the road, I love some of the pics she took. Such vast contrasts with the small boy in a big red outback...
And of course the obligatory family shots- Lilli, Bastian, Jasmine and Charlotte :)
Tatum, Me, Jess, Lilli, Jasmine, Charlotte and Bastian :) And of course my beautiful big sister with her equally beautiful baby- Miss you guys xx Thats about it for now- The embellished Idol comp kicks off this Sunday, I can't wait to see what were going to be challenged with!
Have a fantastic weekend

A clever chickee

Jodie Butler has set up a new etsy shop to sell her devine handmade embellies...so so gorgeous! Check out her shop here There are so many yummy goodies to choose from, I can't decide which ones I love the best.... Chipboard buttons... These beautiful crazy patchwork flowers... Or the stunning butterflies...
Go and check it out...I know you'll love them as much as me- now I just have to work out which ones I want the most :)
I'm still on holidays - currently at Mum and Dads in Port Lincoln, but have spent time in Roxby Downs and also wished a sad goodbye to my good friend Glenda who left Adelaide to start a new teaching job in Port Augusta- good thing I drive up that way fairly often :)
I have lots and lots of pics of my holidays and the scrapping I got up to whilst with Tatum so will share it all soon- back to Adelaide on tuesday :)

Holidays :)

Yay! I'm on holidays :) No work, no uni...nothing vitally important for three whole weeks...woohoo! Mum and Jess are here in adelaide atm, we've been formal dress shopping for Jess- ugh such a horrible task... finding the perfect dress seems near impossible, but I'm sure that we will eventually find it...wont we?? Tomorrow we are off to Roxby Downs to visit Tatum and co. :) Can't wait to get some super big cuddles from the kidlets and spend some time scrapping with Tatum. She's convinced I need to attempt a masters entry...I'm still not quite sure about that, (especially seeing as they need to be there in 3 weeks!!) but we will see! Saturday is my birthday- I will be 23 and already I have recieved some awesome goodies :) Charlottle requested that I come visit on my birthday so that she could make me a cake, and I quote "it can be your choice what we do...we could visit WOOLIES!!" Yep, theres a lot to do out in the country! So anyways, I kicked off my holildays on friday with some scrapping... The first layout was one I started weeks ago after a random tuesday night challenge on Embellished. Ali challenged us to complete a double layout, with five photos, lots of colour and flowers. The pics were taken one morning when Lilah and I hung out while Sam was in hospital, shes a fun little chicken :) The next two layouts I used the latest Inspired Blueprints sketch. Street art are photos from my weekend in Melbourne- I just love all the random artworks :) I dived into my stash of Sassafrass- vintage yummy...such gorgeous papers!!
Back in March Tatum and Woody went to Sydney for the weekend and I had Charlotte, Lil and Bastian for a couple of nights (did I mention how much of an awesome Aunty I am! :-P) One of the days we went to the brilliant playground in North Adelaide- the kids had lots of fun, but B would not let me take a photo of him at all, he thought it would hilarious everytime I pulled the camera out he would sprint off in the other direction, never the less I managed a couple of piccys :)
Also this LO is created solely from the surprise box of goodies I recieved from Scrapbooking Memories last week, I won a box filled to the brim with an assortment of Piggy tales stuff :)

Check out their website http://www.mytatteredangels.com/ for all the delicious colours- I can't wait to see the new releases :)
