Going a bit batty...

Thursday night I took a pretty spectacular fall walking to my car after having a drink with some friends at the pub....how EMBARRASSING!! So a trip to the hospital Friday morning followed, in incredible pain and with very numb fingers, worried that I had perhaps fractured something. An x-ray and a grumpy doctor informed me that I have only sprained it with some bruising on the bone too, but I am beginning to go a little batty not being able to do much at all! Thankfully it is definitely starting to feel better, I have cut my nurofen back to panadol and there isn't much swelling at all...I think I may even be looking forward to going back to work Thursday (did I really just say that!!! omg!!)

One of my favourite layouts from the e2c scrap weekend, 'I'm not a shoe' was a recent conversation I had with Bastian whilst helping him put his pyjamas on.

Lauren: "Bastian your shoes are very trendy"

Bastian: "Yeah" (with an enthusiastic nod)

Lauren: "Are you trendy?"

Bastian: (looking a little confused) "I'm not a shoe"

He really is the most adorable boy! I've used another gorgeous photo from Danielle's photoshoot in Roxby along with Crate Paper some Sassafrass, all the left over bits I had from a Qtea kit, the vintage Noddy cut out came from book I picked up from the car boot sale for a couple of dollars. The title Alphas are Sass with the l's and b's October Afternoon. I totally love this layout!!
