I attended the funeral of my friend Adam today. A beautiful celebration of his life and the wonderful person he is.
A timely reminder that life, at times, really isn't fair but to enjoy and make the most of every moment and every person we share it with.

Day 9- 30 days of Me

Day 9 – A photo of the item you last purchased


Alright continuing on with the 30 days of me, the last item I purchased was at lunch today, a super cute necklace from Lovissa...

It was a total bargain ($15) and I'm thinking that I will be able to change the ties to suit different outfits because they are just strips of t-shirt material...and there's a little bit of that hanging around the house atm... :)
Yesterday I also spent up at Lincraft (who have a 50% off fabric and patterns at the moment) and bought the coolest pattern for a 1950's coat-dress, it will certainly challenge my sewing abilities...but is so so cool!!

4 weeks later I'm posting again....man I'm slack!!

My computer is still totally stuffed but the small sister has hers back, so I'm going to have to 'borrow' it reguarly until I get my act together and buy a new one for myself!!
I have layouts to share and stories to tell, but for now I'll leave you with some pinterest inspiration (oh how I've fallen head over heels in love with pinterest!!) and the promise to be back before too long!
