Time has literally flown by, I have spent it doing not much at all, and that was kind of perfect. Coffee dates, lunch dates, frequent gym visits, restoring my sleep patterns back to that of a normal person and generally just enjoying not having to work.
I am half-way through my nine weeks of long service leave, and today I started my new job in sales at a gym not too far from my house. The change of job and lifestyle is something that I've been seeking for a very long time, and whilst I still have a long term career plan, I think this is the perfect job for me at this current moment.
Its a bit of serendipity really, I missed out on the same position at my local gym and within a few days this position came up and it all fell into place. Currently I am feeling very lucky and excited for everything the future has to hold, I am about to take a steep learning curve, I am going to have to put myself out of my comfort zone and I plan on embracing lots of new challenges. Its going to be fun!
